Entrust TEFL students from our TEFL Chiang Mai course join the Royal Thai Immigration to raise awareness Human trafficking is a pressing issue the world over and particularly in Thailand, where the mistreatment of migrant labor from Myanmar and other neighboring countries has been a long-standing problem. Entrust TEFL joined the Royal Thai Immigration Bureau on the streets of the old city in Chiang Mai to tackle this challenge through awareness-raising. In attendance were local Immigration Bureau division heads as well as the general commissioner on Immigration, who traveled from Bangkok to join the march. Speeches were given in both Thai and English, with Entrust staff calling for foreigners and tourists in Thailand to unite with the Thai people and authorities in opposing the trafficking of human beings in all its forms.
